The Short Version

Hey — the fact that you're reading this probably means you check things before you buy. Good. You should. Here is everything that matters, in plain words:

  • You pay once. No subscription, no hidden charges, nothing recurring — ever.
  • Your card stays with Stripe, never with us. It is stored only so the optional add-ons after checkout work with one click. Stripe is the same payment processor used by Amazon and Google.
  • You are only ever charged when YOU click a buy button. Nothing happens automatically.
  • 30-day money-back guarantee. Read the whole book. If it is not what you hoped for, one email and you get your money back.
  • A real person answers. Questions, doubts, refunds: info@paulschulz.org — I read every mail myself.

That's the deal. The sections below say the same thing in the formal language German law requires. See you on the other side. :)

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases of digital products (e-books, guides, and related materials) from Paul Schulz, accessible at paulschulz.org. By completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

3. Products & Delivery

All products are digital downloads (PDF format) delivered instantly after successful payment. No physical products are shipped. Delivery occurs via email and/or a download page displayed after checkout.

4. Prices & Payment

In plain words: the price you see is the price you pay — taxes included, one time, no subscription.

All prices displayed on paulschulz.org are final prices in Euros (EUR) and include applicable value-added tax (VAT) in accordance with German law (UStG). The applicable VAT rate for e-books is 7% (reduced rate for books in Germany).

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

One-click upsell purchases. After your initial purchase, we may offer additional products ("upsells" or "downsells") that you can buy with a single click, without re-entering your payment details. To enable this, your payment method is securely stored by our payment processor Stripe (never by us) and may be charged again for any such offer you actively accept by clicking the corresponding button. Each one-click purchase is a separate, clearly priced transaction that you authorise by that click — you are never charged without your explicit action. Stripe stores and processes this information in accordance with PCI-DSS standards; we never see or store your full card details. The right of withdrawal (Section 5) and the 30-day satisfaction guarantee (Section 6) apply to one-click purchases in the same way.

5. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

In plain words: because you get instant access, the legal 14-day withdrawal ends at delivery — but our own 30-day guarantee (Section 6) is longer and simpler anyway.

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and German law (BGB § 312g), consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts.

Exception for digital content: The right of withdrawal expires once the digital content has been delivered and the consumer has given prior express consent to begin delivery before the withdrawal period has expired, and has acknowledged that the right of withdrawal is lost upon delivery.

By completing your purchase and receiving the digital product, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge the loss of your withdrawal right. This is in accordance with BGB § 356 Abs. 5.

6. 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

In plain words: read it, and if it did not move you, tell us within 30 days and you get your money back. That's it.

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all e-book purchases. If you have read the book and it does not meet your expectations, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase. Full details are available in our Refund Policy.

This voluntary guarantee does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, texts, designs, and materials in the digital products are protected by copyright (German UrhG). The purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to read the product for private use.

You may not:

8. Liability

The content of the digital products is for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Individual results may vary and depend on the reader's personal engagement.

Paul Schulz is not liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on the content of the products, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

9. Testimonials & Reviews

Customer testimonials displayed on paulschulz.org are from verified purchasers. They reflect individual experiences and do not represent guaranteed outcomes. Individual results may vary.

10. Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy. Payment data is handled exclusively by our payment processor Stripe and is never stored on our servers.

11. Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

12. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
